Plate and frame filter press for ammonia nitrogen waste-water

- Jan 13, 2019-

"Ammonia nitrogen" means nitrogen in the form of free ammonia (NH3) or ammonium ions (NH4+) in water. When the content in the water increase, it refers to a nitrogen compound in the form of ammonia or ammonium ions. Ammonia nitrogen wastewater mainly comes from chemical fertilizer, petrochemical, paper making, pharmacy etc. The discharge of a large amount of such wastewater not only causes eutrophication, but also causes black and odor of the water. Then will bring difficulty and higher cost for disposition. At present, there are many treatment technologies, such as: biological treatment,  physicochemical method and so on.

Additionally, in China the “blow-off method” and the “folding point chlorination method” are also very effective. The “blow-off method” blow gas to the wastewater to remove ammonia in water. It makes the gas and liquid completely contact with each other, so that the free ammonia dissolved changes into gas phase. Folding point chlorination is by adding a sufficient amount of chlorine to the sewage. Then convert the ammonia nitrogen into nitrogen. It's efficiency can reach 95%, and at the same time, it can also play a role in disinfecting for water.

Following that, the wastewater can be discharged after dechlorinated, reprecipitated, and filtered. Finally the sludge produced by the system is dewatered by a plate and frame filter press for dry stack, This method is simple and easy to operate, please contact us for further technical communication.
